ABOUT THE ROLE

Our client, a well-established organisation with active operations across the UAE and the broader GCC, is seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion SCM Functional Consultant to join their team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be embedded within an active Oracle Fusion SCM implementation and will be expected to contribute immediately from day one.

This is a functional role. Candidates with a purely techno-functional background are not being considered for this particular search. The organisation requires someone who understands supply chain processes end-to-end and can translate those requirements into Oracle Fusion SCM configuration with confidence.

Immediate availability is a non-negotiable requirement. The implementation is live and the client cannot accommodate extended notice periods.

ORACLE FUSION SCM MODULES IN SCOPE

The consultant will be expected to have hands-on functional implementation experience across one or more of the following modules:

  • Oracle Purchasing Cloud Services
  • Oracle Supplier Portal Cloud Services
  • Oracle Inventory Management Cloud Services
  • Oracle Maintenance Cloud Services
  • Oracle Order Management Cloud Services

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead functional design, configuration, and testing of Oracle Fusion SCM modules in scope
  • Gather and document business requirements and translate them into functional design specifications
  • Configure and implement Purchasing, Inventory, Order Management, Supplier Portal, and Maintenance modules in line with client business processes
  • Define and document Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Order-to-Cash (O2C) process flows
  • Support integration design with other Oracle Fusion modules including Finance and HCM
  • Conduct Conference Room Pilots (CRP), System Integration Testing (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Prepare and deliver functional design documents (FDD), configuration workbooks, and test scripts
  • Support cutover planning, data migration validation, and go-live activities
  • Provide end-user training and post-go-live hypercare support
  • Liaise with Oracle support and third-party vendors as required throughout the implementation lifecycle

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Essential:

  • Minimum 7+ years of hands-on Oracle Fusion SCM functional implementation experience
  • Proven expertise in at least three of the five modules in scope — Purchasing, Inventory, and Order Management experience is strongly preferred
  • Deep understanding of supply chain processes — P2P, O2C, inventory control, supplier management, and maintenance operations
  • Experience working on GCC-based Oracle Fusion SCM implementations
  • Demonstrated industry experience in at least one of: Healthcare · Construction · Manufacturing
  • Strong ability to work autonomously and manage deliverables in an active implementation environment
  • Excellent stakeholder management and business requirements gathering skills
  • Immediately available — this is a firm requirement and non-negotiable

Preferred:

  • Oracle Fusion SCM Functional certification
  • Experience with Oracle SCM Cloud integrations with Finance (AP, AR, GL) and HCM modules
  • Familiarity with OTBI and BI Publisher for SCM reporting
  • Arabic language proficiency is an advantage
